WELCOME TO BRICKELL KARATE

About Brickell Karate

Brickell Karate has been serving the community since 2002. When it comes to our kids and youth programs, our mission is to reinforce the job parents do at home raising and educating their child. Karate-do will help them by working their mind and body, expecting improvement in their focus, self-esteem and concentration.

On the adults martial arts programs we are prioritizing on health, fitness and self-defense, experiencing and adopting modern budo (the way of the warrior) as a lifestyle.

“In any case , to forge strong individuals who will become an aid to society “

FOR WHOM?

Our lessons are suitable for adults, children and teenagers.
Brickell Karate offers self defense classes for kids age 4 and up! Improve your physical and mental health. Build self-esteem and strengthen your self-confidence.
Take a break from work or whatever may cause you stress in your life by raising your level of energy, focus and concentration. Learn and master self-defense techniques.
  • Brickell Karate offers classes for ages 3 & Up!

Karate is a fun way for kids and youth to achieve fitness and become more focus. It also helps to teach them self discipline and respect for one another. It carries over into school, into the home, and it’s aimed to helping build one’s self-confidence.

Aside from learning from the Sensei or Instructors , students will engage and learn from each other as they progress in their time at Brickell Karate. They will learn essential skills necessary for self defense. Signs of progression for each student is determined by their belt ranking ranging from white (9th Kyu) all the way to black belt (Shodan). Students will often test to reach the next ranking and advance their knowledge in karate.

  • Karate is a great way to achieve fitness and it’s also another way to take away the daily stress that surrounds us. Our karate program is designed to enrich you physically and mentally. We want to help you use those skills to achieve your own personal goals in and outside of the dojo. Signs of progressions are shown through belt rankings, as beginners will start out at white (9th Kyu) and work their way up to black belt (Shodan).

  • Does your child avoid communication with classmates, does not want to go out, does he have few friends? Perhaps he has become a victim of teenage aggression and needs your help. As a parent, it is your responsibility to teach him how to protect himself.

Most often, children and teenagers who fall under the handout are weak, complex, insecure people. Try to deal with it through conversations, persuasion, if necessary - send the child to the sports section, teach him to verbally fight back, not to be afraid of conflicts.

Karate will teach you to hold yourself correctly, to look confidently, to respond briskly but calmly, to maintain a posture.
